Changpeng Zhao (CZ), former CEO and founder of Binance, the world's largest cryptocurrency exchange, drew attention to the interest in BNB in his latest post. CZ reshared a post by user X, Crypto Pumpman, who compiled a chart of institutional investors holding BNB. In the post, it was noted that BNB is no longer just the platform currency of the “Binance Exchange” but has spread to many areas such as the BNB Chain public chain, DeFi, physical payment, etc. “BNB is increasingly being accepted by institutions and publicly traded companies. At the same time, BNB steadily declines in value and maintains a market capitalization of hundreds of billions of US dollars over the long term, sufficient to meet national and institutional positioning needs.” At this point, the countries, institutions and legal entities holding BNB have been compiled as follows: “1- Kingdom of Bhutan: Bhutan, a South Asian country, is currently the first sovereign state to include BNB in its national strategic reserves and sovereign fund allocation. The country supports the use of cryptocurrencies, including BNB, for daily consumption. 2- Kyrgyzstan: CZ proposed the inclusion of BNB in the national digital asset reserve and the proposal is currently in the introduction phase. 3-Huaxing Capital: The company signed a memorandum of understanding last week to allocate $100 million to allocate BNB assets at YziLabs and include it in its balance sheet. 4-VanEck, 21 Shares: While financial institutions such as VanEck from the US and Switzerland are applying to the SEC for BNB ETFs, 21shares focuses on BNB ETP with 100% physical collateral and an asset size of over $20 million. 5- Nano Labs: The China-based company has added BNB to its treasury and has invested $50 million to date. The investment is planned to increase to $1 billion within the year. 6- BNC: The publicly traded company has transformed into the world's largest publicly traded BNB treasury company. It purchased 200,000 BNB and recently increased its holdings to 325,000 BNB, solidifying its position as the world's largest BNB treasury company. 7-B Strategy: BNB Treasury, a company established in partnership with YZiLabs, aims to raise $1 billion in initial capital.
