Europe's largest asset manager, Amundi, has begun preparations for its first Bitcoin-indexed exchange-traded product (ETP). According to The Big Whale, the product, scheduled for launch in early 2026, is seen as a significant step toward strengthening the bridge between traditional finance and the cryptocurrency world. France-based Amundi, a giant with approximately €2.3 trillion in assets under management, ranks among the top ten largest asset managers globally. Founded in 2010 through the merger of the asset management units of Crédit Agricole and Société Générale, the company has maintained steady growth in Europe's financial markets ever since.
