Bitcoin (BTC) started the new month with an increase after the sharp declines and passed above $97,000. While the bullish expectations continue for BTC, which is very close to the $100,000 threshold, a new post came from master analyst Peter Brandt. Bitcoin Announces Date for Summit! Amidst these promising recent moves, Peter Brandt has made a bold prediction for the crypto BTC. In a post on his X account, Brandt argued that BTC could reach a cycle peak between $125,000 and $150,000 by August or September 2025. Brandt’s timing for the end of Bitcoin’s bull rally aligns with typical historical cycles where price peaks occur 12-18 months after the halving event. Since the last halving occurred in April 2024, the analyst’s peak estimate of August-September 2025 seems in line with the timeframe. Correction Alert! Brandt, who pointed to the third quarter for the peak in Bitcoin, also warned that a major correction would follow this peak. The veteran analyst, who argues that the correction will lead to a drop of more than 50 percent, could send BTC back to the $60,000-$75,000 range, in line with historic pullbacks in past cycles. “If Bitcoin can regain the broken parabolic slope, the price is on track to reach the top of the bull market cycle at $125,000 to $150,000 by August/September 2025. Then there will be a correction of more than 50%.” Hey @scottmelker If Bitcoin can regain the broken parabolic slope then $BTC is on target to reach the bull market cycle top in the $125k to $150K level by Aug/Sep 2025, then a 50%+ correction pic.twitter.com/WUUzxl0ckn — Peter Brandt (@PeterLBrandt) May 1, 2025 *This is not investment advice.
