After already securing $624 million in investments, Circle is seeking additional funding, which could raise its valuation to $7.2 billion. Following a successful initial public offering, Circle is now targeting a larger capital raise, the company stated on Monday, June 2. The stablecoin issuer is looking to issue up to 32 million shares priced between $27 and $28, potentially bringing in an additional $896 million in investments. This move follows a previous offering in which Circle raised $624 million from the sale of 24 million shares priced between $24 and $26. At that time, the company’s valuation reached $6.7 billion—placing it ahead of several tech firms, including Lyft .
