55 Million Americans Use Crypto — And Construction Workers Are Big Fans: Report

According to the 2025 State of Crypto Holders Report published by the National Cryptocurrency Association (NCA) yesterday, April 2, 55 million U.S. adults are using crypto, and 76% of them say it positively impacts their lives. The report is based on a Harris Poll survey of 54,000 respondents — 10,000 of which were crypto owners — from late January to early February of this year, commissioned by the NCA. The organization claims that it’s the largest survey of crypto holders ever to be conducted. The results revealed that 1 in 5 Americans own cryptocurrency, while 39% of holders use crypto to pay for goods and services.
